Fusion Ultra Lounge

As you walk through the entrance of the Fusion Ultra Lounge you encounter a dramatic custom-designed decorative screen in front of a 35-foot mirror that runs the entire length of the wall. The overall design is fairly modern, but is balanced with traditional Middle Eastern elements including pops of pattern, color and decorative details. The seating area is divided to create several different experiences adding to a level of intimacy and a "living room" vibe.

The VIP area is a wooden raised level with black cherry paisley print custom sofas paired with sleek, low, white coffee tables and comfortable, black velvet ottomans. Hanging above the seating area is a cluster of upside-down black and white print parasol lamps, mixed with red parasols at staggering heights. Running the perimeter of the raised level is grey velvet, high back, diamond tufted armchairs with mirrored tables.

As you step down from the VIP level, a series of three black and white snakeskin sofas run up the wall housed within semi-transparent, linear divider screens. Traditional Moroccan lanterns are clustered above each sofa and hang in front of silver and black printed wallpaper to add a punch of print to the back wall. Decorative, abstract zigzag, hand-painted cement tiles distinguish the central seating area with low coffee tables and traditional Moroccan poufs in deep red with thick baseball stitching.

It was important that our redesign conveyed an open arms feeling where anyone that walked in to experience the art of smoking hookahs felt welcome,” said Davis Krumins of Davis Ink Limited, about the redesign of the Fusion Ultra Lounge. “The design allows the lounge function as a space that is a relaxed and comfortable, but with a modern twist.
